Sundays are always busy. I'm usually running between home(s) and campus but I do get to choose what I want to do now, so... *shrug. Today I arose somewhere in the hour of 11am. I don't usually get up that late but it was Fast Sunday so I didn't want to move for fear of using calories. I went to church at 1:30 and let me tell you, today was something else. I am all for bearing your testimony, but if you cannot speak a coherent sentence you should stay off the stage. The amount of mic breathing and windy crying that made the room shake was immense. It made something in my brain mad. The mix of "kids who just learned they have emotions" and a lack of public speaking skills was enough to make me triggered. Oh well. At least they went up. That's worth something, I suppose. Our second hour teacher kid tried to tell us where the Book of Mormon took place and showed us Google Maps in present day Oman. He showed us a big desert to the west and an area that was colored green on Google. He pointed at the green area and said that it must be Bountiful because of xyz. I don't think he understands where the map coloration comes from. Also, Oman, specifically Salalah, is probably the least convenient location that you could possibly sail to the Americas from. It is pointed the wrong direction and there are giant continents in the way. If you claim that it was in Peru, even worse. Good thing Ethan got called as a Sunday School first counselor. He is supposed to be making sure there is no false doctrine in the lessons. Hopefully things change.
Anyways, I have school tomorrow so I'm going to go to sleep now. Here is random post from my camera roll to make this post blend in so that curious minds have no particular reason to click on it.
