For this fine Wednesday, I went to class. We kept manual scoring for bowling class, so I'm practically a genius now. Post class, I sat in the sunshine at some tables out by the Wilkinson Center with Ethan, Becca, and Katy. There were a couple of girls sitting at the table next to us. I heard someone's low monotone voice say "I was just walking by and thought you guys were cute." Remember doughnut guy from yesterday? IT WAS HIM! He walked up to these random girls and tried to start a conversation and then left really quickly again. After he was out of earshot, I looked over at the girls and told them about yesterday. Funny coincidence. I think he'll be back. Or married. Or both. Maybe he thought I was cute yesterday. I am wearing a "love wins" t-shirt right now.
After work, I attempted to complete my differential equations homework. I got stuck on one problem and worked for 2 hours on just the one problem. Turns out g needs to be a -9.8. Good thing the textbook says that. Oh, wait, it doesn't. With only 10 minutes remaining to drop my stuff at my apartment and make it to building 3 for my date, I left the Wilk and walked home. I brushed my teeth and walked to building 3 and was only 2 minutes late. I was the first one there. My date was really nice, she was super chill and we just talked about random stuff. Nothing too crazy, no super click story or something. I told you, I don't like dating. It sucks and it isn't for me. But it was fine. Now I have a friend named Rachel. Do you have a friend named Rachel? Probably not. Abby hasn't changed. No surprise there. Don't ask me what I mean by that. I will give you a blank stare. We did a scavenger hunt at the Riverwoods. One of the items was to take a photo with a crying child. We asked some random kids if they would pretend to cry for us. The mom walked over out of concern and we explained what it was for. She said "oh, thank you," and as we were walking away, I heard her daughters translating for her. Oops. She probably thought we were trying to steal her children. Sorry, lady. Not the case.
After that extravagant event, I went home and walked into my apartment. I saw Brennan and his girlfriend sitting at the table and heard other voices, but I thought nothing of it. I went in my room and ground out my homework. Keep in mind it was around 9:50 at this time. I worked until 11:50, so about two hours. At this moment, Ethan walks in and says, "How long have you been here?" I said I'd been here since around 10. He goes, "dude, what? I just had Allie and Isabel and Becca and Paige all over here and we were waiting for you to come back. We even looked at your location to see where you were but it said you were here. They just left 5 minutes ago" They really were waiting for me to come back, all the while I started thinking, wow, Ethan must be partying it up cause he's never out this late. Nope. They were waiting for me. I even came out twice to use the bathroom and I didn't notice because I had my headphones in. It's probably for the better because otherwise I probably wouldn't have finished my homework. I have school tomorrow. Farewell, mortals.
Fire away.Becca finally gets a profile picture in my phone. That's what it is.
